Wells Tobias Finance are looking to hire Finance Officer to work in a Financial Controls and Assurance team within this City based Financial Services business.
This role will be instrumental in establishing, embedding and maintaining a comprehensive set of finance related rules, processes and controls across the finance function and into all associated business units within the company.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and have the ability to work in both the detail as well as seeing the bigger picture.You will have excellent communication skills and will be at ease imparting information as well as gathering information to allow you to deliver the work required.
Additionally this role will provide some assurance work over regulatory reports and statutory accounting /month end processes.
You will have a passion to learn, be able to articulate your reasoning and work well in a time pressured environment.
The company will support (fund) your formal accountancy studies so would love to find someone who is currently studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
Equally they will consider anyone with a finance/accountancy degree who also has some hands on accounting work experience ideally within; audit/assurance/controls/finance risk or a commercial finance area, and wants to begin their formal accountancy studies.
