Our client, a local authority in the Bedfordshire area, is looking to recruit a Cycling Development Officer on a temporary basis to work as a part of the Sustainable Transport Team. This will be a marketing and communications post to develop a culture where cycling is seen as the natural transport choice in the Borough.

Duties will include;

The development of promotional and advertising resources to promote cycling

Organise events and development relationships with a variety other organisations including the Highways Agency and the NHS.

You will need to have a basic understanding of the Health and Safety Act and the DDA and excellent communications skills.
