Chief of Staff - Legal Professional
If you are a legal professional who has taken their career in the Chief of Staff direction then this interesting position within the payments sector will see you supporting the CEO through an ambitious progamme within the retail banking arena.
A background in financial services, ideally cutting edge fintech, payments, compliance or the regulatory space would be advantageous as would being a qualified lawyer. Ideally you will currently be working in a Chief of Staff, or other supporting role to a CEO or Chairman.
Supporting the CEO you will be responsible for first drafts of communications to both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to adapt the language and tone to your communications is all important. The role will see you attending external meetings to understand the full scale of the programme being initiated and managing agendas and documentation in the lead up to these meetings.
This is not a role where you will be providing legal advice, more so using your legal skills, to help provide precise and direct communication, both written and verbal.
You will need to be adept at managing both your own time, and that of the CEO, and have experience of being involved in robust negotiations.
It is essential that you can build rapport quickly, and use this to forge productive working relationships. You will need to be driven and able to take ownership of matters whilst still playing a supportive role.
This role will see you working alongside a CEO, who is professional, supportive of their team, and keen to encourage personal growth.
