Disputes Paralegal

This paralegal position, is a 12 month fixed term contract and is based within a prestigious, yet modern friendly law firm in Holborn. The role is within their Disputes And Contentious Trusts & Estates team and will have you providing paralegal support and legal research to a mix of lawyers in the team.

Duties for this post will include:

  • Assisting busy fee-earners on document management (relativity, magnum and dataroom) on number of complex large cases
  • Providing similar assistance to Commercial Disputes team involved in document heavy disclosure exercise
  • Keeping inter partes correspondence updated on electronic directory
  • Carry out legal research, using a variety of online and reference sources
  • Draft and proof-read legal documents and prepare written reports as requested
  • Methodically analyse and summarise complex issues; finding solutions and communicating them effectively
  • Provide support to fee-earners on cases through investigations, drafting, research and analysis
  • Prepare bundles/ files as requested

It would be ideal if you have disputes experience or have worked in contentious trusts previously, but this is not essential. LLB/GDL or similar is required

As this is a 12 month contract it may suit a paralegal who is due to start a training contract in 2022
