Our client a government agency responsible for investing in Olympic and Paralympic sport in the United Kingdom. It is an executive non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.

They would like to recruit a finance analyst to work with their Grant applications.

You will work with the Investment Manager to:

Manage a portfolio of Sports and Partners, build strong working relationships through the use of a business partnering approach to support National Governing Bodies' (NGBs) management of the grant funding and the delivery of the assurance programme

Provide support internally and externally to help with the implementation of the investment decision processes

Ensure that all Grant Funding Agreements (GFAs), which set out the details and conditions of the grant funding UK Sport awards for NGBs and Partners, are up-to-date with the latest investment amounts and conditions

Monitor and evaluate NGB budgets throughout the cycle including initial budget submission reviews, quarterly meetings with the sports, annual investment reviews and close working on case management with the Performance and Governance teams within UK Sport to drive efficiencies and safeguard grant expenditure.

Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and financial modelling; experience with data analytics and financial budget information.
