We are working on behalf of our client, a well known and fast-growing food distribution business with two sites, to identify a Financial Controller to oversee their internal finance function.
Duties include production of monthly management accounts, management of 4 finance staff, implementation of financial controls, budgeting and cash-flow forecasting and providing strategic analysis and advice to the Managing Director. This is a high-profile role within the business, and there will be opportunities to make enhancements across the finance function and wider business. Great opportunity.
Suitable candidates will be qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, however our client may consider those qualified by experience if they have very relevant experience. You should have experience of working in a distribution-type business, ideally within food services although this is not a pre-requisite. You will have previous management experience, strong IT skills and ideally experience of Sage.
