Wells Tobias Projects are currently hiring for an interim Fleet Procurement Manager to deliver a national project relating to fleet maintenance contracts.
The ideal candidate will have Fleet or Logistics category experience and be able to deliver a project and lead a team and impart their procurement knowledge to deliver a review and renew of their current fleet maintenance contracts/service agreements nationally.
The role will lead on the negotiation for around 50 of the 350 agreements (garages) of which some may be be group accounts with multiple sites within the UK and others will be single sites/owners.
The role will also then lead team of circa 30 fleet Managers to deliver the same approach to the remaining 300 agreements. This will be across the UK to ensure a uniform review and negotiation process.
The role will be for an initial 3 months with potential extension to 6 months.
Location will be Basingstoke with maybe 1 day per week to travel to another site.
Good leadership, stakeholder management and previous experience of mechanical service or maintenance type contracts or service based contracts with garages for fleet would be ideal.
