IT Category Networks Software Procurement
Wells Tobias Procurement are looking for a permanent Category Manager/Procurement Manager with IT/Technology experience.
This is a permanent role paying £50-55k plus up to 20% bonus and requires an experience professional with some relevant category experience.
Define category priorities, build and implement category strategy
You will be responsible for the development and ownership of the Networks & Workspaces category. You will be required, among others, to understand existing supply relationships and spend, identify and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that the appropriate procurement actions are taken for future requirements.
You will develop an actionable category strategy, in conjunction with internal stakeholders and the other category leaders operating in your area, in order to optimize the value of and future-proof our supply relationships, within the parameters of our Corporate Social Responsibility commitments.
You will also manage relationships with key suppliers in your category.
You will coordinate your category strategy with other category managers in the team and obtain the approval of the Head of IT Procurement for the category strategy.
Lead the fulfilment procurement needs in your area
You will run sourcing events (RFP, RFI, RFQ); Negotiate, draft and review contracts for within your assigned category area, or others as requested by the Head of IT Procurement.
