Inventum Search are working on this exclusive permanent opportunity to hire some new leadership for this Financial Services business.
The ideal candidate will be an influential and engaging leader first with a good knowledge and understanding of regulated products with specific exposure to Cards / Cards Product lifecycle.
This role requires a credible leader who is adept at managing and driving sales performance through a team led approach. This will include setting, monitoring and embedding accountability of individuals and team performance against agreed targets.

You will be familiar with achieving financial targets, owning the P&L and delivering compelling customer card / loyalty products that deliver service levels and revenues.

You will understand the complex regulatory landscape and how to deliver products that meet Customer needs (B2C) and drive revenues through strict governance and adherence to FCA rules.

This said we are NOT looking for a pure 'Card Product SME' but a highly commercial and compelling influential leader who knows how to deliver, sell and trade services and where to go to get the information and what questions need answering to deliver products that support the business strategy.

This therefore requires a senior manager with strong commercially focused and Inclusive leadership skills. You will be used to working through periods of change within a large/complex business previously where you have held accountability and responsibility for the success of your team and function.

You will display a collaborative and supportive style that builds trust and engages those around you. Strong stakeholder management and influence will be required with the ability to influence external providers to ensure they are engaged and aligned to support and develop the compelling products that are needed.

Given the main product class within this space you will need to have a good knowledge and understanding of Card Products (Loyalty/strategy/payments) or have ran a cards function previously and know how to deliver commercial success to a 'cards' product area.
